Overview
This demo project showcases the use of drones for capturing high-resolution rooftop imagery suitable for visual inspection and documentation. It is not intended to serve as a certified roofing or structural assessment. The project showcases a typical workflow that can be adapted for use in property management, real estate marketing, or insurance documentation scenarios.
Objectives
Plan a flight pattern to capture top-down and oblique images of the roof
Ensure high image resolution and consistent lighting for feature visibility
Process imagery into an orthomosaic and/or high-res stills
Annotate areas of interest if applicable (e.g., vents, damage, materials)
